On October 2, 2025, Diamond Minds students visited Miami Gardens City Hall for an inspiring civic learning experience. Students met with Mayor Rodney Harris, Vice Mayor Robert Stephens, Councilwoman Katrina Baskins, the City Clerk, members of the MGPD Officer Training Department, and other public servants dedicated to uplifting the community.

A major highlight was a simulated council meeting, where students stepped into leadership roles, discussed community topics, and learned how local decisions are made.
