UCP Diamond Minds offers 3 distinct programs and the admissions process for each program varies slightly. The admissions process for the private school, Diamond Minds Transformational Leadership Academy, is more involved than admissions into the after school and preschool programs. Private School Admissions Criteria
Diamond Minds prohibits discrimination against students accepted into this facility. Students are admitted without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability or any other legally protected status in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. All applications are welcome to apply. The admission process entails completing the application, submitting required school and health records, and parent and child interviews.
After School Admissions Criteria
Students must be in grades K – 8th and reside or attend school in Miami-Dade County. Our program provides services to children with and without disabilities. All students will be required to attend the program for a minimum of 1 1/2 hours per day, 4 days a week. If students are unable to meet this requirement they will not be able to participate. Students and parents are required to complete a contract upon entering the program indicating that the student will actively engage in school, (i.e. complete assignments, submit homework, etc).
Summer Program Admissions Criteria
Students must be in grades K – 8th and reside or attend school in Miami-Dade County. Our program provides services to children with and without disabilities. All students will be required to attend the program for a minimum of 4 days a week. If students are unable to meet this requirement they will not be able to participate. Students and parents are required to complete a contract upon entering the program indicating that the student will actively engage in school, (i.e. behavioral expectations, submit homework, etc).
